Snow Bear Lodge

Snow bear is the best place to stay in Big Bear for the price! I have come here 4 times in the last 8 months. The rooms are big and have 3 beds for $59. The owners are the nicest people in the world. I drink coffee and chat with them every morning I'm here. My family loves it. This is our "go to place." The playground and basketball goal is great for my kids and you can walk to the village in 2 minutes. WE LOVE SNOW BEAR!

First time checking in here, yet I know I'll be back really soon. The rooms are big and they have a fire place to stay warm. The rooms are with nice showers and jacuzzi in the room in front of your bed. I'm a fan of this place because its walking distance to the liquor store (right across the street) and the food, coffee, and bowling ally are right up the street. Walk around the area and enjoy the views. The employees are really helpful and nice so be sure to check this spot out soon.

My family and I always come here. They always have rooms nice and clean. We bring our ribs and barbecue outside since they have a little barbecue spot with table and seats.. They also have activities outside for the kids to play. There's tetherball, basketball, and other things. Across the street there is a liquor just in case you need to buy something real quick. We were a bit disappointing this last time because we came for the pool and wasn't a available this time. Also the basketball s needed some air they were a bit flat.. But we still had a good time and we will keep coming.

Decent place to stay in Big Bear. We had a studio and a chalet for me and for my kid and their friends. The studio worked well for the kids to hang out and watch TV and cook a meal, then go back to the chalet to hang out without dad. Used my phone as a mobile hotspot to connect the TV and everything streamed just fine. Nicely located with a front and back entrance making it a little easier to get in and out. Took a little effort to find the rooms since we arrived after dark, but I would definitely stay here again. We were here in the winter for the snow, so I know nothing about the pool.

The owners were extremely friendly and very understanding. They reserved rooms for us quickly and effectively. The rooms were very clean w a jacuzzi and a fireplace! Overall best experience.

Proprietor was so helpful and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again. Easy checkin and quick responses. Excellent.

The outside is nicly decorated, the spa room is great if you're sore from a long day of skiing/boarding. The gas fireplace can heat up the room nicely. However, the room itself could use some updates. The last updates look 20yrs old. Still, it's a good place to rest at.

Basic but clean. If you need a place just to sleep, this is perfect. Within walking distance to the village. Has a small fridge and microwave. Roku TV with Disney plus. Contactless check in. You get a code for your door texted to you right before check in time.
